The Love Your Neighbour Hub was launched during the COVID19 lockdown. It is run by St Luke’s Church and located in Birmingham. The Hub’s volunteers coordinate social action projects and deliver resources to the surrounding communities to meet local needs and show love in action.

The Your Local Pantry – Brasshouse opened in 2020 to help relieve food poverty in the local community, as the COVID19 pandemic was further highlighting the impact that food poverty was having on local people. It is an initiative of the North Smethwick Development Trust, whose members work with locals to provide support and make their community thrive.

Mansfield District Council originally started working with FareShare Midlands through the Nottinghamshire County Council Childhood Obesity Trailblazer programme and Family Action. They now run seven FOOD (Food On Our Doorsteps) clubs in Mansfield. The first club opened in August 2020 during the COVID19 pandemic, so the schemes have been running for almost two years. They have built up slowly, gradually opening additional clubs using FareShare food.

In 2022 the Marlpool URC is celebrating its 200th anniversary as a church. It is part of the umbrella organisation the United Reformed Church which has always had a strong social ethos in terms of demonstrating faith through action, with a focus particularly on helping those who are in need. The Church has a long history of supporting vulnerable people over the years, including through World Wars and different tragedies that the residents of the Country have faced.

After originally operating as an outreach project through Telford Food Share in 2020, Newport Food Save and Share established themselves as an independent organisation in February 2021. Since then, they have seen the number of people they support with food grow from around 30 to 300.

Penny Taylor is the Lead for Education and Training at Newark College (which is part of Lincoln College). The College offers further education and technical training, specialising in hands-on trades and crafts. There is a large construction site with industries including electrical and furniture-making, and a new plumbing centre has recently been built, where 48 learners joined in September. The College also runs traditional courses such as hairdressing, media, sport and public services. In addition, the College has partnered with experts in the aviation industry to launch the IASTI (International Air & Space Training Institute), and this will see a new £12m site built in the local area. For that project they already have 27 learners on board, on one of two pathways: engineering or pilot.
