Brushstrokes Community Project is based in Smethwick and is part of the Father Hudson’s Care charity. The project supports local asylum seekers, refugees, families, homeless individuals and people suffering from drug or alcohol addiction. Lucy Clark is Resources Co-ordinator and works with many local organisations, groups and individuals who are part of the Sandwell Borough of Sanctuary (for example Bearwood Action for Refugees). Lucy also works with schools in the area such as St Hubert’s, St Matthew’s, St Philip’s and St John Bosco as part of the Schools of Sanctuary programme.

Fulbridge Academy is an award-winning Peterborough primary school with nursery. It is part of a Multi-Academy Trust and supports over 900 children. While the lunch provision is catered for separately, the Academy joined FareShare Midlands in early 2020 to provide food for breakfast and after-school clubs, and food parcels for vulnerable parents.

The Sutton on Sea Community Larder is a food bank set up during the outbreak of COVID19. Based on Sutton High Street, the organisation was created for a community facing difficult times involving a great deal of financial and economic hardship. Initially the Community Larder was set up as a food bank, to give out food parcels and offer essential shopping to people who were struggling. It is all about the community coming together to help each other during a period of crisis, through caring, sharing and supporting those in most need.

The Lincoln Community Grocery is located in the Central Methodist Church on the High Street. The organisation is one of 11 that have been initiated around the country to help reduce food poverty across the UK by reducing the cost of the weekly shop for those who need it.

ISRA UK (ISRA) is a charity organisation focused on fighting poverty worldwide. Their work in Birmingham is focused on providing social and food support to vulnerable people.

​Change Kitchen are a social enterprise community interest company based in Birmingham.

Mothers Voices (MV) is an organisation supporting parents and carers who are experiencing challenges whilst raising their older children, many of their members are single mothers.

There are 9 Adventure Playgrounds across the City of Leicester, each operating in areas of high deprivation.

Families and children are benefitting from the food supplied to The Melton Learning Hub. And the difference it is making is huge, particularly in the classroom.
