Redistributing surplus foods so our Members can do more.
We take surplus and in-date food from some of the UK’s top food companies, and prevent it from going to waste. We redistribute this fresh food to more than 550 charities and community groups in our region.
If your organisation uses food to support people then you can sign up to receive surplus food too.
You might be a homeless hostel, a community centre, a children’s breakfast club or an older people’s lunch club. Whatever the focus of your service, as long as you use food to make a difference in your community, you can sign up to be a Community Food Member (CFM). Join us to receive tasty surplus food, fight hunger and tackle waste.

14 million people in the UK struggle to afford to eat.
4.7 million of these people live in severely food insecure homes. This means that their food intake is greatly reduced and children regularly experience physical sensations of hunger.
The food we redistribute is varied and nutritious too. It could be meat, dairy and fish, fruit and vegetables, or store cupboard staples.
What’s more, it can save you money! Typically, food from FareShare Midlands is worth £7,900 to each of our CFMs, and in many instances, it can be more. These savings enable our CFMs to reinvest their finances into life-changing services that are helping many thousands of people in our region.
