FareShare Midlands is backing the #FoodOnPlates campaign to stop millions of tonnes of fresh, unsold food from being wasted.

The partnership with Sandwell-based recycling centre Alutrade will support the distribution of more meals across the region.

The first food redistribution hub in Lincolnshire has opened, part of a pioneering project which will divert surplus food to organisations fighting food poverty.

Leicester-Shire and Rutland Sports (LRS) are an organisation funded by Sport England and also receive other funding through local authorities. Their main focus is to help and encourage people across Leicestershire and Rutland to stay physically active.
