This year the Midlands depots went head-to-head in a Christmas decorating contest - and Narborough came out on top!

Check out the incredible creativity and resourcefulness that the team at FareShare Midlands Narborough used to turn a corner of the warehouse into a Christmas grotto! Some of the things they did included:
  • Constructing a tree out of the trays used to store food
  • Twisting plastic bags into tinsel, ornaments and wreaths
  • Gathering secret santa presents around the bottom of the tree
  • Setting up a seating area around the "fire"
  • Making Santa's legs out of plastic and dangling them down the chimney
  • Making snowmen out of bin bags
  • And making a festive tree display out of bread packets
Although not our normal method of using surplus resources for good... but just as wonderful!

(Once finished with, the bags will be recycled, and trays returned to the co-op!)
