Whilst 2020 was a year unlike any of us had known, we had more people than ever before fundraise for us through all kind of interesting events, challenges, and as part of celebrations for a special occasion.
Thanks to everyone involved, the funds raised over the year paid for an incredible 113,011 meals!Some of the great ideas included:
- Virtual Events: From Yoga Leicester’s hugely successful run of virtual classes to quizzes and adorable dog competitions.
- Virtual Celebrations: You donated your birthdays, asked for donations instead of presents to welcome new baby’s and asked for donations in lieu of Christmas cards
- Challenges: From Miles for Meals participants, Mr Tantum’s 3 peaks challenge, head shaves, moustache growing, and challenging runs and walks
Every pound raised will help distribute more meals in the Midlands and by joining our team, you’ll become an official FareShare Food Hero!
