Winter is for roast dinners - and the roast potato is often the star of the show. But - why waste the peel?
Make the process of peeling potatoes for roasties even more rewarding by turning your potato peels into potato peel crisps.
- Wash and scrub your potatoes
- Peel your potatoes
- Add oil, salt and your favourite herbs and spices. This could be thyme, paprika, garlic powder and/or parsley. Whatever takes your fancy!
- Cook the peels in the oven/air fryer at 200°C for 15 minutes (or until golden and crispy), turning halfway through.
The fun doesn’t have to stop there – you can follow the above steps to turn parsnip and carrot peel into crisps as well.
