Mark your calendars and prepare your party hats, as FareShare Midlands is hosting a series of parties to celebrate and appreciate our incredible volunteers during Volunteers Week, which takes place from June 1st to June 7th. Without our dedicated volunteers, we wouldn't be where we are today!
While we don't have all the details on the exact locations yet, we're planning to host these celebrations at our depots. Get ready for a delightful time filled with food, refreshments, and a chance to unwind with staff and fellow volunteers. It's the perfect opportunity to let your hair down and have some fun!
During the celebrations, we'll also be presenting awards to the funniest and cheekiest volunteers, so make sure to bring your best banter and brightest smiles. And guess what? You'll have a chance to cast your votes for these upcoming categories, ensuring that the most deserving volunteers receive the recognition they deserve.
In the last 12 months, our incredible volunteers have contributed almost a million pounds in time, demonstrating the immense value of their dedication and hard work. This celebration is our way of saying thank you for the countless hours spent making a difference in the fight against food waste and hunger in our community.
