Like many charities we rely on volunteers giving their time and enthusiasm to help us fight hunger and tackle food waste.
Our volunteers do anything and everything, from driving the vans, helping to sort and store food in our warehouses, administrative tasks in the office, and helping us to fundraise and share our work through social media.
And the great news is, they get so much from it too! Our volunteers tell us their time at FareShare Midlands helps them build new skills, develop confidence, make new friends, feel like they are doing something great and giving back to their community.

Our warehouse volunteers are at the heart of what we do. Our team is responsible for sorting, storing and recording the food we get delivered to our warehouse. They also assemble food orders for our charity members. Every day is different, and you’ll be part of a fun, welcoming team. There’s something for people of all abilities!Apply Now
Our drivers are vital to the work we do. Drivers make sure our food gets delivered to charity members in towns and cities across the Midlands region. You must be over 18 to do this role, have a full, clean licence and be confident driving a van.Apply Now
Our drivers always need an extra pair of hands when they are out delivering the food. You’ll help to load and unload the vans, help our members unpack their food and assist the driver with navigation, route planning and timing.Apply Now
Help us with the day to day operation of the warehouse by taking calls, meeting guests and completing paperwork. Our centres are a hub of activity getting food out to where it’s needed, and with your help we can run a tight ship!Apply Now
